This sensationalism needs to stop.

Ben was never convicted, and the girl admitted that she had been drinking.

Is Ben a piece of shite human being, yes.

Is there any sort of comparison that should be made here at all? No.

The Players played within the rules of the league, or they would be penalized or fined. You are right there is no comparison.

Is it better to be found guilty of manslaughter, or lie to your boss? They're both bad, but the NFL considers them the same.

Don't lie and mislead the commish. Own up to your errors and accept the smaller punishment. That is all the Saints organization had to do.

So, because Stallworth admitted to killing that guy is the reason he got the same as Coach Sean Payton? One year suspension.

It was the basis of the reasonable doubt that would have been argued had it gone to trial, and easily could have been used had Roth gotten a gigantic suspension.

Geez some people are so stupid. Didn't you know it is ok to rape women but only AFTER they have had a beer!

We all know rape is wrong. Let's stay on topic, and continue to point out how ludicrously exorbitant SP's suspension is, compared to other arbitrary punishments that Goodell has doled out.

I doubt that. If a girl is too drunk to consent, it's rape.

Donte' Stallworth was suspended a year for killing a person while drunk driving. Apparently Sean's offense is just as bad as killing a person.
