He's being let go by the Bucs. If we're looking at depth at linebacker he seems like an affordable option.

Tampa has let go plenty of linebackers that have produced elsewhere. Kwon Alexander made it hard to keep him. If Carter goes to the 49ers I wouldn't be surprised.
