As of right now, we are picking 11th overall in the draft.

F@ck the atl and their playoff dreams.

Team needs a lot more than a 11th pick over say a 13th pick

CBS Sports

This mock has us missing J. Smith by one pick, but getting Treadwell. Wouldn't complain.

Walter Football

This one has us taking Billings in the 1st, Carl Nassib in the 2nd, and Will Redmond in the 3rd. Wowza! What a defensive haul that would be with Anthony, Kikaha and Jordan.

Draft Site

OT Ronnie Stanley in the first and OG Codey Whitehair in the second. The only pick I like in this one is DT Day in the 4th. They have us drafting a RB!!! WTF?!?

Fox Sports

Has us passing up Treadwell and taking Robert Nkemdiche. Not of fan of Nkemdiche. He's falling in most mocks.

Drafttek

This one has us taking DE DeForest Buckner, OG Vadal Alexander, OLB Joshua Perry and TE O.J. Howard. Not my favorite draft, but I'd be ok with it.

Pass on the Ole Miss guys. We need DT's, DE's and LB'ers more than anything else but I'd pass on a wild card like Nkemdiche

Currently we draft at #11.

Saints, Tampa Bay, Philly, Chicago, Detroit and Giants are 6-9. Philly plays Giants and Detroit plays Chicago. Tampa plays Carolina.

Miami (vs N.E.), Ravens (@ Bengals) and Jags (@ Houston) have 5 wins.

Bills (vs Jets), Raiders (@ KC), Colts (vs Titans) and Rams (@49ers) have 7 wins.

So, if Tampa, the Giants, Miami, Baltimore and Jacksonville win and we lose we can draft as high as #7.

If we win, the Giants win and the Bills, Raiders, Colts and Rams lose we can drop as low as around #14-16. (Depending on strength of schedule at the end of the year.)

More likely, Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, Baltimore, and Oakland lose. If that's the case, we can get no lower than #9.

If we win, we likely end up at #13/14 depending on who wins the Giants-Eagles games.

We really need Philly to lose to the Giants to move up one spot. Go Giants!

We were eliminated from the playoffs and won. Stupid asses. Should have played the backups and learned a thing or 2 about them. We will probably win again and have 15th pick or so.

thanks for the links tiger, time to start surveying the landscape...

The team sticks strongly to the BPA as evidenced by Peat. That in mind, what position or need would ya ideally like to see fit the pick?

I'm saying whatever defensive front seven PLAYMAKER fits the bill. The arrow is pointing up with last year's draft plus Jordan. The backend is pretty well committed to veterans at this point (for better or worse).

I don't see any guards worth taking at our pick in the 1st round & I can't see us going OT again in the 1st. Like you said...our db's are pretty much already decided(for better or worse). It's looking like Treadwell, Jaylon Smith, DT, or DE. Still a lot of time to go and guys will rise and fall, but as of now...this is what we're looking at imo.

I agree with this. I would guess that we end up taking a DL, just because it seems like there are quite a few who seem to fall In that 8-15 range.
