He's the only one I am legit excited about. Not saying it was a bad draft for the Saints, but he's the only one I think can have an immediate impact

Nope I'm fricking jacked about a few but it's exciting to grab Grayson. Unfamiliar territory and we have a real chance to groom an awesome asset to our franchise.

I like the pick, but I would have liked Kendricks better at that spot. Something rubs me wrong about Anthony. I really do like him but I feel like he is going to have a major flaw.

on the other hand... I LOVE THE GRAYSON PICK

The more I think about this draft the less I'm disappointed. Do I think we got a bunch of starters next season? No, but we should have gotten players who can actually play. We've lacked depth at almost every position for a while and that's why the record goes south with injuries....we needed depth and we just just it.

If the guys coming in don't start right away, they'll push the starters and reduce the anxiety when we hear 'Next Man Up!"

Definitely. I've been watching games on him and he looks like Drew Brees coming out of Purdue. Him being able to learn under Brees and CSP for a few years and he can take painlessly take over.

No one will know how this draft pans out until a season or 2 goes by but more than likely the first 2 picks are immediate starters ,Kikaha will if not start right away still be a big contributor if he stays healthy . He is talented and super aggressive. P.J. Williams has first round talent but had that DUI hanging over his head. No reason why all 4 shouldn't be in the mix sooner than later.

McShay said he thought the Saints had the best overall draft, so there's that

Andrus Peat- powerful, massive OT that will anchor the left side for years

Stephone Anthony- best blitzing ILB in the draft, who also happens to be NOT be a liability in coverage

Kikaha- according to many analyst, the best pure pass rushing OLB in the draft

Grayson- capable, young backup that many had pegged as the 3rd best QB in this draft

Williams- 1st round talent at CB, that slipped due to off the field issues

Tull- highly productive player in college, that provides depth at a needed position

Davison- makes a living at disrupting the interior of the offensive line, which will allow our new ILB's (Ellerbe and Anthony) to have lanes to the QB/RB

Swann- ball hawking DB that always seems to be in the middle of the play

Murphy- very productive player in the SEC, who happens to be very versatile as a runner and pass catcher...

Nope. The more I read the more I think this was a great draft. Could go down as best draft in Saints history.
