Shanle is a weakside LB. I don't think Cushing could play the weakside. He's too big and stiff. He could play the strongside or the middle. Pete Carroll thinks Cushing's eventual place in the NFL is on the inside.

Any LB available in the 1st is what i wanted especially over Jenkins, I watched Jenkins get burnt and abused in the NCG

Did I say USC LB core. Did you watch the NCG? Did you see Jenkins get burnt. Also how well did the Saints past few 1st round DBs go? Some pretty good picks, NOT.

Their 1st round LBs haven't been good either. But that has nothing to do with it, whether Ditka drafted a bad corner 13 year ago does not affect the DBs they draft today.
