yeah, and Brees is much better at avoiding sacks than Alex Smith so I would imagine that Grubbs number are ever worse

I think what he was getting at by saying that is the fact that some people felt Tanner could potentially finally be a starter this year and so people are pissed that we replaced "a potential starter" with a poorly graded guard.

Not surprised. We had 13 receivers and less than half were making the final 53.
Also not surprised we're taking a flyer on a former starting guard.
Also the love affair for Tanner was funny. He has been a step below Arrington. At least that guy made the 53. Sure he had sure hands but that was about it.
