They're gonna go after Butler. Patriots sitting him in the superbowl still doesnt make sense. Id imagine it'll lower his value.
If we trade or cut breaux, it would make sense.
There is absolutely no way we pick up jarvis. He's gonna want atleast 12mil for like 5 years.

Exciting doesn't win games.
It was exciting signing Byrd, Spiller, Fleener and Browner to big money and trading up to draft Cooks. It was exciting to lockup Junior Galette and Jimmy Graham.
The team has learned it's lessons. Character above flash and value over splash FAs. Hopefully, they've also learned to let the draft come to them and move only when they have a 1st round grade on someone that slips for non-character reasons.

I would be pretty excited for 2-4 to happen. I would be pissed about 1, mainly because I want him in black and gold and think he will be a top 10 NFL QB in a few years.

Interesting to look back. Got some right and some wrong. Still a ways to go.
1. Drew signs for more money than most anticipate and less than a deal Tom Brady will eventually take with the Pats and everyone will melt and bash Jimmy John's.
Wrong. Drew signed for less than I thought.
2. The Saints will be smart in FA and not sign anyone during the first wave and fans will melt. They definitely are not overpaying Jarvis Landry.
Right 100 percent.
3. The Saints do not even place a tender on Breaux or they put the UDFA level one for no compensation - there's something there imo and both sides are ready to move on.
Nailed it.
4. They put a 3rd round tender on Snead and ultimately he signs.
Wrong / incomplete. They put the lowest tender and we don't know yet if he'll be back.
5. They do the same for Coleman.
I complete
6. Strief plays one more year as swing tackle.
Wrong.
7. Okafor gets a 1-year $5 million deal.
Incomplete
8. Vaccaro is not re-signed and there really is little effort to keep him.

9. Kikaha is traded on draft day for a late-round pick.

10. The Saints biggest splashes in FA is a mid-level WR. I'll predict Moncrief from the Colts. The other FA starters will be a mid-level LB and slot CB.
