No, the $8M is for both AP and Ingram. AP will get $4M, in line with other FA running back signings this offseason. That's still too much.

Nope. He might as well retire. I wouldn't mind bringing him for $2 million but he won't do that.

Yep exactly we need a third down back Rex burkhead would have been perfect but I really think they grab a running back this year in the draft fifth rounder

Ingram is a much better fit for the offense and way more bang for the $ than Peterson. Mark is a very good receiver coming out of the backfield. I've never understood the hate for him on this board, I guess bc he went to bama, which is petty to say the least. Peterson is washed up and reportedly wanted $8million which is laughable.

I'd take Peterson over Cadet and Hightower any day of the week. If he can't play, the of those guys will likely be available when shopping the waiver wire or unsigned free agent's list.

Adrian Peterson is arguably the goat running back. He can still play at a high level and we are trying to win now aren't we? Sign him, this is like Ivory x2 but I think he won't be injury prone at his next stop.
