It seems the Packers were looking to possibly move him in 2022 per fmr Packer VP Andrew Brant.

quote:

Aaron knows the reality: he is both the MVP of the league and a placeholder for Jordan Love. The Packers probably wanted the transfer point to be 2022; now Aaron wants to control that timeline, not let them control it. Fascinating struggle for power, dictation of terms.

I wonder is there anyway Loomis could pull off obtaining Rodgers with the salary cap being so tight. Might be possible in 2022, just not sure with Rodgers wanting out right now.

Why is GB so anxious to get him out? He's shown no signs of slowing down any time soon. Wtf are they seeing from Jordan Love that has them wanting to push out a top QB of all time?

The guy will be 38 this year and his trade wish locations are "Coincidentally" is in range of of where Jeopardy films.

Trading for a 38 year old QB who already has his foot out of the door with the league is not ideal.

There’s no way in hell he’d get the job over some of the others hosting. He was the second worst after Katie Couric.

He just wants to move somewhere his fiancée prefers.

Next 2 years his cap hit is $37 M and $39 M, largest hit in the league. Love on rookie deal is better bargain.

They want him to stay. IF they wanted him out, they'd have taken the trade from the Niners that would have gotten them the 3rd overall pick.

If he’s any good.

And I sorta Get the love hype.

I watched him and Mahomes against LSU and they both showed a ton to like but we’re just on completely inferior Teams.

Love even moreso

Maybe/ maybe not but untill they actually name someone he'll have that card to pull if something doesnt go his way.

Trade to Broncos still an option. They have Lock and Bridgewater.

Neither could do anything with that team. They are wildcard at best without Rodgers. Mostly because they haven't drafted an offensive player with a 1 in 10 years. Except for Love.

You are delusional. No way in hell do we pursue a 38yr old QB. Have you been under a rock the past 3 years? lol

You're right, I probably should have warned everyone before posting it.

People are going to be quick to point out Brady like thats a common occurrence.

Personally, id rather take a shot at Wilson.
