I am just scared a high defense draft pick would be wasted with our coordinator

Lots of wasted selections as evident with our recent draft history , arguably worst in the NFL

Draft
2008: 6 picks, 0 still on current roster
2009: 4 picks, 1 player still on team (P - Moorestead)
2010: 5 picks, 0 still on current roster
2011: 6 picks, 2 still on roster
2012: 5 picks, 0 players on current roster
2013: 5 picks, 2 still on current roster
2014: 6 picks, 1 still on current roster
2015: 9 picks, 6 on current roster

Talent evaluators suck and CSP needs to quit trading draft choices to move up 5-6 spots in the draft order

trade back several spots and stockpile draft choices

O line. Mauler type of guy. Get the running game better then a wr in Rd 2 or 3. The rest defensive players.

I still think improving the o line to a high level helps the defense out a lot. Running the ball would do wonders for the entire team

we need to do is promote Jeff Ireland to GM and take personnel decisions away from Payton

Absolutely horrible idea on the promotion. I don't think, in fact I KNOW you don't realize just how bad he is as an actual GM. He is FINE where he is.

One day CSP will listen to me. Trade down this year and get a starting guard in the bottom of the first. In the 2nd get a WR and another guard. FA get the best starting DT you can afford to go with all the rookies. Oh and draft a coverage LB please. Be nice to have one on the bench when needed.

From 2008-2014, 37 (THIRTY SEVEN) players were drafted and given butt loads of money and only 6 (SIX) remain on the roster with one being a punter. How does the Saints talent scouts and draft committee keep their jobs?

We scored 38 points on a top three defense and lost.

Draft defense please

What about the multiple games we scored under 20 on

19 vs Arizona
19 vs Tampa
14 Vs Washington
6 Vs Texans

No one outside of Cooks and Snead when healthy is reliable enough. Plus, Colston will probably be gone after this year.

It would not hurt my feelings at all if we went Defense because its clearly a need but lets not act like this is Drew of 5 years ago that can make any WR. WR is still a need as well

They don't. A ton of them were let go before this last draft.
