He did. Payton was afraid the Saints were going to get a PI for any kind of contact. He told the players to not touch the WRs. Defender pulled up. Should have just layed the wood.

The defensive alignment Dennis Allen called on the play was absolutely terrible.

That was the last Saints game my dad every saw. He and I were watching it in my garage while playing with my youngest son. Pretty sure that led to the heart attack he had a few months later lol.
