I fully expect a healthy dose of read option. Not sure we will be able to stop it. I don't have a good feeling about this game at all. Sf is a bad bad match up for us.

are you going to the game?

If the 9ers stick with running the ball I'd say they have a pretty good chance of winning. Their D is lightyears better than the Cowboys so they won't be forced to abandon the run after the first quarter.

How good is San Fran at off tackle runs, because that is our bugaboo. I know Kaepernick can bounce a run outside and be a serious threat, but I'm not sure how good their Running Backs are at cut back runs, or bouncing a run outside.

I cannot believe that you guys lost to the Panthers. I was rooting for the 49ers.
The Saints REALLY need to win this game, but, I know that the 49'ers will be fanatical about not dropping two games in a row.
It will be a war, and, I hope we don't have injuries.

Not a heat or redsox fan. Sorry man, I was born in Dallas and raised in Texas and Louisiana. Also have lived in NYC, Atlanta, and Houston.
In the mid 90s the niners were on TV more. I stuck through plenty of losing years with Ken Dorsey, Tim Ratty and Alex Smith.

I wish. Cousin is getting married on Saturday night. She wanted to get married in the fall and he wanted an LSU bye week.

The cat is out of the bag on the read option in the NFL - you punish the QB (regardless of yardage considerations). If you do this they won't be running the read option by the second quarter

Meh, Kaepernick barely gets touched in general and read option plays have always been a very small percentage of the playbook. The characterizations of SF's and SEA/WASH's offenses over the offseason and now as "read-option" don't really make much sense.
The cat is more, as mentioned, jam his receivers (particularly Boldin) and send 5+ to force tough throws which he hasn't been able to make with much consistency. If he has a comfortable pocket he is pretty accurate (whilst not under pressure amongst the most accurate arms in the league), but if it's disrupted he gets too panicky and the ball goes all over the place. I feel his ability to go through progressions is fine, it's been more playing with a receiving corps that for most of the year has been on par with NE's (and even Brady has looked mediocre). He's afraid to throw into tight spaces whereas last year his receivers were getting open with much greater consistency and his throws were much easier. IMO he also seems more mental and uncomfortable. Why I don't like our chances in the Dome.

Ahmad Brooks killed us last year and I saw where he terrorized the Panthers yesterday.
we need to block that fella. He's an underrated player on that Defense.
Ahmad family is from Varnado, Louisiana. His father, Perry Brooks, played several years with the Washington Redskins.
