Kikaha for Martavis makes sense for both teams.

And congrats, this is the first pod of y'alls this season that hasn't sounded like shite. Both of you are at the same volume and there's no one being murdered in the background for half the show.

Even if the Falcons win, we'll still be in 1st place. We have the better conference record. Not that it really means anything in only week 7.

That being said...I hope the Pats embarrass them.

Tavis would absolutely be a difference maker in our offense and would take it to a different level later in the season once he and Brees work things out. Thomas was a fantastic pick and he's a great player, but he's not a clear cut #1 WR. A 1a/1b with a Cooks type, sure, but I don't think that he can be "the guy." He needs someone across from him that defenses are terrified of busting one deep. Ginn makes deep plays, but teams aren't changing what they do on defense for his sake.

Thanks for that feedback. I had no clue. I need to listen to the episodes more often.

Orly, but yeah. It’s my screen name here and when I started writing for that site I just used that as a pseudonym.

I somewhat take that back, apparently your kid tried to watch the hardcore lesbian sex scenese from "Blue is the Warmest Color" on Netflix in the middle of the show.

Do y'all not hear it during the phone call? Background noise is typically obnoxious and the volume difference between the two of you is always pretty extreme. Otherwise, I like the show.

We do it over Skype.

Typically I’m recording on my laptop with a usb headset, but i couldn’t find my headphones so I just recording on my phone with speaker phone on.

It’s strange that it came out sounding better.

I'm sorry, but what would you call Matt Stafford? Dude is elite.

To be fair, he was injured. It was clear he wasn't himself.

He couldn't scramble like he usually does, but our D-Line played a big role in that game. Our D-Line basically embarrassed their their O-Line. Our CB's stuck on their WR's pretty damn good as well. Crawley had some holding going on, but did a good job overall.

Combine all that with the 9 batted balls & our defense basically suffocated Stafford. He had decent numbers at the end of the game, but they were kind of shitty for his standards.
