And it will most likely be 3 of 4 after Broncos-Chargers.
You have to know Payton is kicking himself for not holding on for that pivotal win. We would have played GB or Carolina and rolled on our way to the inevitable loss in Seattle. My point is, things may work out better this way. Seattle will have a tough time with SF who looks like they are peaking. And by us losing we denied the 49rs one last game at the stick.

Edit. Sorry for the mistake

Was nice seeing Carolina get throughout embarrassed after all their shite talking and thuggery.

Still doesn't help that we completely folded to end the year.

I know, but we were so inconsistent. Just the fact that Payton got us through the season and won a road playoff game, man I'm disappointed but we made progress. The sting will wear off in a few days and we have a great defense and DC to build the next Dome Patrol. I'm pumped for next season.

the sting isn't as bad as in '11 for sure. already over it.

this team was hobbled by injuries in the secondary losing 3 of our top 4 dbs, lost our best run stopping OLB, and our offense has had maybe 2 games all season where we've totally without a question clicked. We were a playoff caliber team, but championship caliber is definitely reaching. The best team in the NFC is Seattle and rightfully so we lost to them (take this as a high note, if they reach the superbowl, win or lose, their starters may not be back due to cap strap)

Interestingly, the game with the biggest spread, ours, ended up being the closest game of the weekend. Assuming Denver continues the way they are going. Chargers could easily come back.
