So you choose to dismiss all of the proper English and all of the language used in proper context to focus on one word pass off some type of "lack of education" to me.

I don't play those right wing internet games bro I'd just put hands on you. Keep this conversation about basketball because you would run away from me in person. My environment would make you stay home and call the police. We ain't the same. Go communicate with right wing folks you have similarities to.

Huh? Man stfu if you ain't gonna post something with any information behind it.

Last night I seen 2 dunks where he barely got off the floor, I seen a fat man use his amazing touch around the basket to finish layups. I seen a fat man who can still get the job done, but not as Zion Williamson. More as a big butter ball with solid speed and agility and GOAT level touch around the basket (the only thing that has been completely unaffected by the weight).

If you look at current Zion, and see the same Zion from last year, then you are legally blind.
So you did not see him blowing past anyone last night or his head go past the bottom of the backboard on the block? Troll

Sad that some people need to run to a message board to look for attention.

I don't agree. The wall comes for everyone. He can only abuse those gifts for so long.

I remember Larry Johnson talking about when he started to decline. It was after he had back surgery. He was just never the same. It's a fragile thing.

dude needs to REALLY get down to 285, Duke size ONLY abd no less than that because right now, he is at least 320.

Less would be best. But I don't think he cares or will make a drastic change. He likes being big..

He is absolutely not 320 right now.

Yes. I seen him blow past people easily once or twice, seen him stumble and fumble the ball about 3 times, seen him try to and get cut off leading to a pass about 3 times, seen him get the ball on a few transition opportunities where he didn't push the ball with an advantage (not trusting his speed), and once again, the 2 dunks he had, he barely got off the ground.

The block? Head at the bottom of the backboard? That's something that's amazing now lol.

In comparison to last season, where no guard or big could stay in front of Z in the half court or in transition, I SEE A HUGE DIFFERENCE. If you see the same Zion, then I question your ability to visualize things.

The shite is not mutually exclusive. Z is my favorite player to watch, BY FAR. I'm not a damn Republican, I can give props and criticize somebody at the same time. I do t believe in all out unregulated praise like those types of people do. I can actually sit up and say that Z is playing great right now, but nowhere near as athletic or in shape as he was last year

See how that works?

Look at a side to side pic of Z at Duke, listed at 285 AND LEAN ASF, muscles lean and not surrounded by fat bulk, mid section lean, no fat on his shoulders and arms, ect.

Abd compare that to right now, then tell me what you think Z weighs right now, if the 285 at Duke was correctly listed.

You're trying wayyyyyyy too hard with your statements.

Zion isn't as fit and explosive as rookie and year 2 Zion, no question.

But Zion still absolutely has elite explosiveness, but you're saying he "can't explode" and has no abilities to break down help defenders and his first step is super slow.

And yet, with zero things learned in 5 years, he's still averaging 22ppg on 58% shooting, which would be impossible if all your exaggerated statements were true. If they were true, he wouldn't even be an NBA level player.

He does all the things you claim he can't, and he does them at an above average level. He just doesn't do them as good as he used to.

His 2 dunks last night were so damn unathletic it's crazy.
He said that right handed dunk was unathletic

Yes because they're woefully bad and exaggerated takes.

In the history of the world, there's never once been an alpha male who tells people he's an alpha male.

And in the history of the world, there's never been a legit badass dude you don't want to frick with that posts on a message board telling people how badass he is and you don't want to frick with.

Those are 2 absolutes you can stand by and it'll never let you down.

Good post. I coulda worded things better. I'm not saying that he "can't" do those things, I'm just saying that if you are used to watching Z, you can CLEARLY see that his weight is getting in the way of those things and slowing him down with those skilks.

Like I said before, Z is normally unguardable off the dribble. No matter if guarded by Kawhi, Draymond, any speedy guard or any lengthy big. Live dribble or triple threat, nobody could stay in front of him.

That is not the case this year, and he is just slower with his body movements.

Since you watch him so much, how many times is he guarded by one player?

Never. He never has been. He used to explode immediately before the double team came though, he doesn't seem to be doing that this year.

He had been looking to play make more, so that contributed to it, but it's still plenty of examples of Z beating the man defender off the dribble and splitting the help defender every season prior to this one. There is plenty of examples this season of him trying to do that same thing and losing the ball, being stripped, or being stopped and passing out.

threads like this are fun. its loaded with emotions but enough subtle truths to make everyone mad.

its like year 4.5 into zion's career and we're supposed to celebrate that he's barely in above average game shape. he flashes great games then mixed in with suboptimal performances. His flashes of greatness are just continual reminders of what zion can be doing every night to even higher degrees without his lack of commitment to his career in the prior years. Its frustrating but slowly moving in a better direction. It beats getting fatter but still upsetting to know what could be right now.

What in the world is going on when Chad comes into a messy thread and is the voice of reason?

Threads like this have been posted almost every day here. They’re blatantly obvious threads that keep getting posted. They also ignore the fact that like you said hes getting better with conditioning, scored 36 last night and we’re 11 games above .500.
