I'm sick of being reminded of Shinn, of being reminded of when the team nearly stayed in OKC for good, of people constantly calling us Charlotte, and maybe most of all...of the arena being called The Hive.

Some people really do like resisting change. Rather keep things the way they are and scoff at new ideas as stupid and offer nothing in the way of being useful.

Need a new brand for your team? Why not Zoidberg?

Yay! Let's make political statements on the Hornets Board!! Yay!

I apologize for my statement; should be on the politics board.

Let's hope the hornets can find some pieces in the offseason so we can make a deep run in the playoffs.

while i do hope we keep the hornets name to say we will appreciate our championship victory next year better is imo very false i will enjoy it the same regardless if we are called the New Orleans Tampons

agreed

Tom Benson bought the team. Some people hate their lives and will do anything for change. The Hornets life has been good and will only get better with a local. No need for change. Once the season starts, none of this matters.

Just finished watching The Killing. I'm bored and will jump into this piece of shite.

Obama is not the antichrist and he's not a socialist. He's an average president.

The Hornets were a fricked up name to begin with, but I've actually gotten used to the name. I wouldn't be upset if we kept it.

On the other hand, I can see the excitement that a rebranding would create. I'd be down with a change, but only for the better. "The Spirit" sucks what may be one of the nastiest, largest donkey cocks in the world.

The Angels? Slightly better . . . slightly. At least there would some possible synergy with the Saints. If it weren't for that stupid baseball team that apparently has ruined Albert Pujols' career, it might work.

Have I ever mentioned the fact that The Brass might work?
