Why is AD allowed to wear a shirt under his jersey?

The NBA rules are that you can not wear sleeves unless your whole team is doing so, unless covering up a brace. Does anyone have a reason?

Maybe because it's compression for medical reasons. Didn't Gordon do the same thing last year?

There's a ton of guys who wear compression undershirts. Horford comes to mind.

Cover up the tattoos. They allow them for that reason alone.

They do but usually they never allow sleeves, that is why I am asking. AD's is not a compression shirt by looking at the sleeves.

What does Adam Morrison at Gonzaga have to do with a NBA rule Lester? The rule in the NCAA is as long as it is the same color as the jersey with no corporate logos showing.
Also it is like the full leg tights rule, that they do not let you wear anymore, I believe.
