that is on this team? Darius Miller looked less than impressive last night in his first start of the season. Would you like Monty to give him a few games before going elsewhere, have Babbit at the 3 or put Rivers at 2 and slide Evans back at 3?

I know one thing I didn't like was AD guarding the SF with the 3 big lineup, even if that SF was "just" Omri Casspi.

Man, I don't know. All options suck to be honest, but I'd lean towards Rivers at the 2 and sliding Reke to the 3 or sticking to Miller at the 3. I will say this for Miller. At least I did not notice him on defense. On offense, he's going to suck right now as he hasn't played with the starters all year.

You mean the guy who's go to defensive play is to foul a guy softly enough that he gets a 3 point play? Long gone are the days when we had a battle between 3 mediocre talents with worthwhile NBA skills that you could actually debate. Our SF situation is just a whole bunch of

And Davis was the "best" option for Casspi. Its the fundamental flaw with that lineup, and why Monty tries to use some zone with it. It just doesn't work defensively. Yet, I still read complaints about us not using it enough. Seems people want their video game lineups regardless of the results.

I hate it, but Ryno just wrecks our defense. They attacked with whoever he was guarding ALL.NIGHT. Landry looked like Cousins vs Ryno last night.

Epic Cajun came up with this 3 way that moves Ryno the other day and I kind of think it makes us better.

quote:

Ryno and Dragic to Boston

Rondo and Rivers to Phoenix

Jeff Green and Gerald Green to New Orleans

Jeff Green isn't going to manufacture 3 point attempts like Ryno does, but he's sufficient as a stretch 4 and can play SF along with Gerald Green. So you might get enough of what you got from Ryno while getting the roster more balanced.

I like it.

The uniqueness of his game and the attachment we have to him makes it really tough to trade him. But...

He's probably the most valuable, tradeable, piece we have. And he plays ADs position. Taking emotions out of it, we should at least be looking around. Especially if they feel good about retaining Asik.

Why would Phoenix give up Gerald Green and Dragic for 2 more PGs? Ignoring he fact that I think Green and Dragic are way better than Rondo and Rivers , they'd now have an even bigger glut of PGs.

I don't see it.

Only way it works for Phoenix is if they're afraid Dragic will get maxed out by LA or NY and don't want to pay that much or fear he'll just leave (he's a UFA right?). I agree it's a bit unrealistic trade wise, was more looking at it from the standpoint if what could we trade Ryno for that makes us better.

Whether that specific deal or something else, the point is the Pelicans can find real value for Anderson if they decide to go that way.

The nba has gone 3 pointer crazy, especially from stretch 4s, and you won't find a better one on a better contract than Anderson.
