I know most of you have no clue. Was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes to recover from brain Surgery?

I have no real knowledge on recovery from brain surgery or from having a kid for that matter. But my guess is late November. Like in the last week of November or so.

Also, does she have to be fully recovered? Like is he gonna be hiding behind furniture chucking objects at her as she enters rooms until one day...she snags it out of the air without looking and he will rise and say "it is time, you are ready" and then pull off his scrubs to reveal his jersey and jog straight to the blender and on to the court? Like will that happen?

I just posted in the other thread I don't see how he could sit at home while his team is losing. Assuming everything goes well with the birth and surgery is Jrue really going to choose baby sitting over playing in the NBA? Hire a nanny and make the home games at least.

Knowing our luck, he will be out for 6 months and tear his ACL walking to the car for his first practice back

Jrue does not love basketball like that. I think he will miss more games than most are assuming. If this were Kobe or CP3, or someone like that, I doubt they would even miss a single game

But basketball isn't Jrue's whole life. He is not obsessed with it, never has been. He will take his time. That probably makes him a better human being, that his job isn't his whole life and focus, but if you are a fan of the Pels, this is the reality you have to accept

I feel the same way and he seems really into being around his family a lot. So being with his wife for a long time for the first time ever along with his first kid means he won't be back anytime soon.

He will have missed all of camp in a season with major roster turnover and it's not like he has played very much with the guys who have been here

Even if he returns in say late December, I wouldn't expect him to be in shape and developing chemistry until February, at best.

I would basically go into the season like he isn't going to play for me and anything I get is gravy. This has been beyond massive but we aren't supposed to really harp on it because we all gotta seem sensitive and pray for her with fake, shallow tweets

But the truth is that all the positive things that happened this offseason were all undone by this news with Jrue. Yet another season over before it started

All I know is when FA time comes for him, he is going to owe us a HUGE hometown discount.

He doesn't owe anyone anything. It would be nice if he would re-sign but it's pretty unlikely. Odds are he goes to Cali to be close to or at home.
