What's holding up the David Griffin press conference?

Teams of two main candidates for GM job are in the playoffs.
Also Gayle probably wants to win on PR front with this press conference...

Hopefully they remembered he drafted anthony Bennett and want to go in a different direction.

I'd imagine a press conference will happen in the next week or so. He probably wants to get in and have meetings to get caught up before they go out. I don't think the GM portion will necessarily need to happen before Griffin is formally introduced.

He just got in town this weekend. It will be Tuesday or Wednesday. He is working hard at assembling his staff, getting caught up on a lot of things, etc.

There might not be a "GM" -- you guys will have to rethink titles.
Griffin will be the guy who makes the decisions and he will have numerous guys around him heading up departments and helping him make those decisions. To lure a guy like Redden, he might have to give him a "GM' title, but none of that really matters. It is Griffin heading up everything and he will be the final decision maker. The titles beyond that are kind of pointless.

Right about the GM title Crewz. You can be the GM and the POBO...hell Pop is the POBO and the Head Coach and was the GM and Vice POBO when he made himself coach.
