This board is just funny to read year to year. Two years ago, it was the draft is a crapshoot. Trade picks for proven players. Now it's lets trade our proven players for picks. Oh, that Steven Adams guy, how do we get him?

These guys were all drafted at some point.

this board has never been aboard getting young vets and giving up assets. the draft has always been a crapshoot, but nobody here was aboard not trying to develop players.

nobody wanted to give up TWO 1st rounders for Holiday, one sure, but two was vastly insane. Makes it even worse with his injuries.

nobody wanted to give up a 1st rounder for Asik when Houston was so desperate to flip him, much less give him AND ajinca sizable contracts (15mil combined).

I think this board largely uses the benefit of hindsight to shite on Dell. Yea, he sucks, but judging him for not picking players that weren't highly rated and then panned out is dumb. The whole league missed out on Draymond at least once.

No, not really.

I remember everyone hating the Jrue Holiday trade when it happened, well after we found out we gave up a 1st and didn't get one back. Everyone hated the Eric Gordon extension, the Asik extension.

I don't think any of us particularly liked Tyreke either.

Why stop there?

Talk about his lunch pail, his arrival time at practice relative to other players, his basketball IQ, frick it, his IQ in general.
