Both shite the bed but Minny getting blown out by the Suns for the 1 seed on the line I think is worse

No, it’s the Pels epic collapse to end this season. We were the 4 seed and it was almost impossible for us to frick it up but we did it.

Little difference is correct. Don’t get your panties in a wad

Yeah it’s not just today, although today is a monumental frick up.

We have fricked up the end of season totally…coupled with a Golden stretch of home games to cement our place but we fricked that too.

We are fricking soft.

Sometimes we play elite… some times we play so fricking gobsmackingly dumb, it’s hard to comprehend.

We constantly melt on the big stage. No toughness whatsoever.

The ultimate Pels move is to lose today and then turn around Tuesday and beat the lakers to face Denver. Had we just won today, we’d be in a great matchup with Minnesota. Pels know how to frick up a wet dream.

We're not beating Minnesota or Denver or OKC in a playoff series.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure our chances are better and I too would prefer to avoid Denver but it doesn't really matter. A tiny chance compared a smaller tiny chance isn't moving the needle for me.

I've said it all season, and I still believe it right now. If you lined the Pelicans up with all West playoff/play in teams, there is only 1 team I would pick us to beat in a 7 game series.

Teams ahead of us:

OKC/Denver/Minnesota/Clippers/Dallas/Phoenix - Nope, we're not touching any of those teams in a playoff series

Teams behind us:

Kings - We'd beat them

Lakers/Golden St - Ain't no way in hell I'd bet on the Pels to beat Lebron or Steph in a playoff series. Them 2 dudes would figure that shite out.

Sad thing is OKC and Minnesota was in the play in along with the Pelicans last season. Those two teams won a play in game while we got bounced in the first play in game. Now those two teams are bonafide playoffs teams with home court advantage in the first round while we are back in the play in. We had so many chances to secure our bid but in the end, they just can't get out of their own way. This is their peak unless something drastic changes.

The entire franchise demise is on me for that moment of optimism, I'll have to live with that for the rest of my life.

If you took our last 15 game schedule and shuffle them into the streak where we ran up to the 4 seed, we would have never been the 4 seed..

The middle of our schedule was ridiculously easy, and then BI gets hurt right before we play a shite ton of playoff teams
