But my point is, these guys aren't superstars. Yeah, give us a Shaq, Kobe, or Lebron, and well yeah I expect us to make serious noise in the playoffs. But they're not. It's Jrue Holliday and Tyreke Evans. Davis is still only in his second year and you don't even know if Gordon can make it through a whole season. You can call it making excuses, I call it being realistic.
If you're disappointed by a first round playoff exit, then I'm sorry but you're just wrong. That should honestly be the only expectation this year: making the playoffs at all. With a team like this, you need to give it a season or two.
I mean Lebron, DWade, and Chris Bosh didn't even win it all in their first year and they're all superstars. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment without allowing yourself to enjoy the process.
