What the frick? He would absolutely thrive in a fast paced offense. You must not watch Ryan Anderson or the Pelicans play much.

I think after having one year under his belt after the injury will help him also. He looked tentative and unsure last year. I expect to see the first 2 years Ryno not last year Ryno

If Gentry brings the same motion defense and switches on all screens, Anderson will fail in the system

Other teams will screen and screen until Anderson is ISO on any playmaker or shooter

We gotta pull a miracle and trade Anderson for Tristian Thompson and let him start at 4 and AD at center

And Run run run run and get rebounds

Lots of open looks from 3 in transition & from improved ball movement in half court sets. The flash point levels in The Blender will be extremely high for The Flamethrower next season.

WHISKEY TANGO F**KING FOXTROT?

I thought it was common basketball knowledge that half of Anderson's struggles this past season was the pace of the offense not letting Anderson play his game?

Or apparently really easy to see him thriving in a fast paced system.

Cleveland isn't letting Thompson get away. Not after his performance in the playoffs & not after Lebron has spoken on Thompson's behave.

quote:

Multiple times James declined to elaborate on what it would mean for the organization to secure the services of Thompson long-term. The four-time MVP refused to go there. That is, until now. "Tristan should probably be a Cavalier for his whole career," James said on Monday after practice. "There's no reason why he shouldn't. This guy is 24 years old. He's played in 340-plus straight games, and he's gotten better every single season. It's almost like, 'What more can you ask out of a guy?'"

I can totally see him playing in a system like this. But I don't think we keep him. He's too tradable. Just hope we get something significant. Someone young, plays both ends of the floor, and is smart.
