What are the chances Gordon gets traded now?

I have a feeling that Denps had a master plan all along.
Holiday , Evans
Then trade Gordon for a 3

Aminu won't have to do any handlin this year on offense. He will play the Ariza role which is all he needs to do.

IMHO, Aminu, Copeland and Miller (breakout season coming up) will handle it. Besides I think we'll see significant minutes with three guards on the court. I'm of the opinion that the strict position definitions are outdated.

Gordon, Holiday and Evans are not the same as three NCAA guards (particularly Evans). And I wasn't suggesting that should be the starting lineup. I'm saying that it would work in a lot of situations and, frankly, I think you'll see it this upcoming season for offensive or defensive reasons. Players like Miller, Aminu and Coleman can cover it otherwise. I'm saying the addition of Holiday and Evans actually partially alleviates our problem at the 3.

I'm thinking if we get Evans, there is a plan to get rid of Gordon for either the 3 or 5. If we dump Lopez also, I'm thinking the 5. All we have to do after that is find a 3 that can hit an outside shot.

When one of them can play significant minutes at SF it can work. I still think unless Gordon really turns it on and stays healthy that he'll be traded in the long run, but for now Dell has built an exciting team with lots of B level assets that can be packaged. Whenever the next Harden situation happens the Pelicans will probably be the best positioned to trade for him.

I fricking hope not. I love the idea of our 3 guards right now. I don't want to throw that away just to have a 3. Bring back aminu and let him focus on defense and rebounds.
