Just read that GS rescinded there offer plus Bigut to Dallas. What you say? I think it would be a huge upgrade.

Some team was gonna take him. Might as well try to improve your team in the process.

He's better than Asik

For starters he can dunk the ball

Are you saying you wouldn't take Bogut if we were the team on the other line?

I know I sure as hell would.

Honest question, what would happen if no team made trades for them. Let them implode from the inside ?

If I'm trying to dump salary, sure.

Bogut hasn't played a full season since his rookie year and is a UFA after this coming season. He's 31 years old. He'll be a nobody within 2 years. You want that?

back to ezeili there is no money
wonder if Dell wishes he'd waited now
trade Tyreke and try to sign Barnes and ezeili

He would've needed to dump Asik and Reke to get those two. Also, Barnes would have probably still chose Dallas over the Pels and you'd have no backup guards

I doubt he regrets it

Depends on what this team is doing, if we are chasing playoffs, which I assume we are, then yes. He basically came for free and he would immediately be that 20mpg center that can pass, board and protect the rim that we wanted Asik to be. It takes our starting 5 from questionable to pretty darn good.

Then he comes off the books but if he performs well, which is likely, we may move into a 6-7 seed projection IMO and become much better positioned when it comes to pitching to FA's. Which has shown to be pretty critical this FA.

still...Barnes ezeili and bogut all of a sudden available
I guess most people saw that coming but it is unique that three capable players with rings are all of a sudden gettable

this season should be a punt anyway
move Evans and asik for whatever and go again next year similar plan
nobody is getting past GSW and SA

That would be my ideal. Let the team play hard but don't bend over backwards to chase a pointless 7-8 seed.

Get another solid draft pick, maybe move Evans and Asik for another couple picks or expiring assets and then keep the mini rebuild going.

Why?
