Not because of the shot, but because when you're losing you can't let the clock tick down like that.

Yeah, was curious about this. It's still a one possession game if you miss, foul and GS hits both free throws. Also have a time out to advance the ball. Monty gonna Monty I guess.

Great job by Holiday, great look for Gordon. The ball did everything but go down. No shame in that. Just didn't happen tonight.

Good game for the Pelicans. Don't give a shite if Bogut/Iguodala were out. They played hard and just came up short. shite happens

monty ball cost us the game. why would you not take a timeout and draw up a play like any coach would?

AD has already reached the point in his career where, on this roster, he needs to have the ball with the Pels down one freakin point on their final possession.

That shot was better than what 90% of teams get out of time outs with alot of time left. Its normally a wild shot out of the time out and everyone yelling "THATS WHAT WE DREW UP!?"
Im not a monty fan but I dont mind him letting it play out. We got a wide open shot that should have went down but didn't

AD does not get the looks on offense h deserves. 9 shots compared to 15 18' jump shots by Smith.

Why the frick did we not take a timeout?

Have you seen Monty's track record of designing plays after a t.o. in crunch time? He couldn't have drawn it up better. It was an open look that went in and out.

So they couldn't put their defensive package out there. If you hadn't noticed the past 3 years Curry and Thompson are subpar defensively. And O'neal is slow as frick.

This fricking board is ridiculous.

They had a wide open corner 3. The shot just didn't go down. Not sure what else you want Monty to do besides make sure the ball goes through the hoop.

You don't take a timeout because you can push the ball and get a good look before the D is set. Of course the Pelicans did the exact opposite of that

Yeah, Gordon has been hitting open 3s pretty well this year. I think I'd have rathered another Tyreke Kamikazi run with AD cleaning up, but it wasn't a terrible shot, especially for this team.
