pels 43.5 in one i saw.
over looks tempting.
i suppose there could still be a deal for the great defender in the paint.
edit to 43.5

For reference, we've only gone over 42 wins five times in the franchise's existence.

Betting on us staying healthy will always be a risk but...
I'm already heavily invested on the Over.

Pound the under ... if they suck, you make money and you are happy. If they finally show up and stay healthy, you are happy and get to watch good basketball.

They were 44.5 last year and if either Zion or Ingram had a shred of health they would have blown past that but of course fell short.
That said, I'd bet the Pelicans find a way to hit the under once again.

thats sad.
i grew up in hoops 6 miles from Philadelphia. they were always competive and actually won one the year after i moved. i did not see one game of that winning NBA champ playoffs.
the only over the air tv in nowhereville corn country Illinois Champaign urbana was an IND that used ABC and CBS most popular shows.
when i got to sf as an adult, they didnt carry nba playoffs live on school nights.

What’s the O/U on games Zion will play this year? That’s gotta be low, like 25 or something right?

That's a smart strategy. You are happy either way.
I just think it's too early to decide. Couple of big deals are probably going to happen before the start of the season for other teams. West got stronger. I don't think we are a top 6 seed even fully healthy (which is not likely). Vegas is smart and I think it's a sucker bet right now..

I have zero expectations with this team so if they win 43.5 games it could always be worse.

I think we're getting 50. Sorry, you can't tell me the health won't be better this year after it was as bad as can be last year.

Lol do you pelican?
Remember the Gordon, reke, Anderson, holiday, Davis lineup? The one that played like 5 min together?
This team has been dealing with health since David west threw an errant pass and cp3 hit his knee on a camera saving the ball. The one year they looked legit af David west blows out his knee. Chandlers toe changed the course of the franchise. Boogie on a missed free throw. Lol.
Being unhealthy and Nola go hand in hand.

Idk, things can always get worse. Just hoping for the best expecting the worst at this point.

Take the under on Zion games played and over 43.5 wins

vegas agrees
1. jokic
2. Phoenix
3. golden state
4. los Angeles Lakers
5. clippers
6. memphis
playin
7. kings
there are 4 teams for 3 slots.
8 9 10.
pels twolves mavs thunder.
if twolves are #11, 4 pick trade is eligible for top 5 bad all time. they were already a playin team before the 4 #1 for goebert trade.

Vegas is handicapping our health, too, so not really.

They'll be a play in team this year.

I think Vegas would assume every team is healthy for the season, unless someone is already hurt. I'm sure they factored in Morant's suspension as well.
Its hard to predict, with so much off season left to go. I don't think Denver will go too hard in the regular season and coast a bit. So I don't think they will be the first seed. The Suns are shallow and have fragile players. Lakers, Clippers, and Warriors are super old.
Kings, Mavs, Wolves, and Thunder are way too low IMO. I'd buy us around 7 or 8. If I had to pick the finals standings, I'd go..
1. Kings
2. Nuggets
3. Grizzlies
4. Suns
5. Thunder
6. Warriors
7. Pelicans
8. Wolves
9. Mavs
10. Clippers
----------------
11. Rockets
12. Spurs
13. Jazz
14. Blazers
15. Lakers (cause F'em)
