LOL. Loaded question. Don't care. Has nothing to do with this.

I would say I know more about it than you that is for sure.

quote:

Dante Cunningham takes 75% of his 3P from the corner, and all of them are assisted. Kudos to him for improving and at least getting that shot down. You can tell he worked hard on the corner 3 (while still being a poor FT shooter). One of his good qualities is knowing what shot he can take.

But outside of that, he isn't very successful from other spots on the perimeter and he cannot create his own offense. On top of being a poor rebounder for 6'8" 230. He probably only gets 25 mpg on our team and a few others in the NBA

Not much of that has to do with Solo, but if he can at least hit the corner and WIDE OPEN 3 efficiently he would probably be worth a few more Ws.

My only point in mentioning Cunningham was to demonstrate that the Pels coaching staff have worked with players during the off-season who have shown demonstrable improvement statistically speaking in subsequent years.

I'm certainly not arguing that Cunningham is good at rebounding or creating on offense.

Just look at his 3pt percentages for each season in his career and compare them to last year.

My hope is that they can work similar magic with Hill, developing him to be a reliable outside shooter, ideally who can finish if the defender overplays the 3-ball.

Cunningham was the best recent example off the top of my head to at least justify optimism that Solo's offensive game can develop enough that he compliments the players around him on that side of the court.

I totally agree with most of what you said. I think you just misconstrued the intent of my initial post.

Wrong thread dude. This thread is about whether Solomon Hill is half full or half empty.

No worries. I was just kidding because I'm kind of surprised this thread is still going. I thought when they brought out the Solo vs Rivers argument that it was almost over.
