We better be.
He's an interesting prospect but he still has a lot of work to do. Needs to develop his off hand, needs to be a more consistent shooter, not the best defender, and needs to get in the weight room big time. He's the kind of project that you'll see go in the late lottery.

No true at all he's a great defender that guards 1-3 and shoots 37% from the 3. He does need to develop his off hand and dribbling.

Is he more or less than a project than Jaylen Brown, that is the ultimate question. I think we end up selecting one of those two guys as I don't think any of the guards make sense at #6.

Future batum/Leonard with no chance at becoming sefolosha or juju

Brown is a better Athlete and is stronger
Luwawu is still a great athlete but not on Brown's level but he is a good 3 point shooter and currently a better defender. He also has shown some passing skill. Brown has a higher ceiling but is a bigger project.

You mean nbadraftnet who hasnt updated their profile since last year?

Development will be key, though. Getting Luwawu to improve his ball-handling, continuing to work on his 3-point shooting, and letting him learn the more advanced concepts of NBA defense will be crucial to him being a successful two-way player. If a team is willing to invest the time to allow him to grow, Luwawu seems like a strong bet to fit into the Nicolas Batum or Jimmy Butler lineage of strong two-way guards with few visible weaknesses, and he’s definitely a guy worth consideration in the back half of the lottery.

The fact that you like him so much makes me hope we don't pick him. He'll be a bust
