Not possible anymore, thanks LeBron. The limit used to be 30 days but the Cavs abused it with Z and the limit is now a year.

Tell him if we can't make it, lets try to get him on a winning team to get a ring.

Then, trade him to a championship caliber team that has 0 way of re-signing him next year.

Sign him in the offseason.

jk, that'd be crazily stupid haha

Anderson is untouchable unless we're getting back a starting 3&D SF that is actually worth a damn and not ancient.

If this happens, I will be furious if Demps doesn't pick up the mic and then drop it on the ground right after the announcement.

Eventhough Anderson is in a slump you can't give him up without getting some 3 pt shooting back. They would also have to be starter quality.

We would need to get a legit starter back for Tyreke. He has produced and his contract is not bad. Additionally, what teams need someone like Tyreke?

Howard Beck, the author of the article, posted these on his twitter (@HowardBeck) yesterday:

quote:

Responding to my trade-season column, Pelicans source emphatically refutes suggestion that they are open to moving any core players.

quote:

Pelicans have received inquiries from other teams, mainly about Tyreke Evans. But source says they're committed to keeping him.

quote:

Pelicans officials are confident in their core. Also have plenty of room to operate under the tax threshold, so no urgency to move anyone.

quote:

Should note, in fact, that Pelicans are thrilled with Tyreke Evans' play this season. He's been their best player not named Anthony Davis.

Still on his Twitter.

There were legit reasons to not be happy with Tyreke despite putting up numbers. He's looked good the last several games, as in looking to pass and play team ball. If he's turned a corner in that regard then we might just make the playoffs. If not, let him pad stats all the way to the deadline and ship him out.

The key with Tyreke is for him to know when to be Good Reke and when to be Bad Reke. I know that sounds dumb, like when would you want Bad Reke. There are times. I dont want him coming down with 19 seconds on the shot clock and bullying his way to the rim while AD, Jrue, and Ryno look on. But if the ball movement has stagnated, get that ball to him. Let him make something happen. Im ok with him forcing it there.

Just as he has the ability to completely destroy a possession he can also save them

I understand that there have been legitimate gripes about his play at times. But I just don't think we should make major roster changes every 6 months like some here think we should.

Everyone talks about wanting to be like the spurs. The Spurs have that "corporate knowledge" aspect on lock. Their core players have been there FOREVER. You're never gonna get that when year in and year out you have to give 1-2 starters a month or two to learn how to play on our team at the beginning of the season.

I'm not saying definitively that Reke has turned the corner and will continue to hit 70% of his shots at the rim, but I hate the sentiment that we gotta dump anyone not named AD who plays well for a 4+ games.

Trading Reke really worries me. Jrue is a solid PG, but he doesn't apply pressure on other teams. Reke applies serious pressure and has to be accounted for. The NBA is all about match-ups, and he is a match-up nightmare.

Get rid of the terrible F'ing coach, not the player who could help vault you to the next damn level.

ETA: Reke needs to be coached up and/or deployed correctly. End of story.

I'm with you on that bruh. I'd like to see this core stay together for a while before we just blow everything up.
