I'ma take a stab at it. Here goes nothing:

frick the NBA
It's worse than when the Jazz were here.
It's full of thugs. But dont call me racist for saying that because you don't know what I've been through.

a LOT of LA is a shithole. If you haven't lived there you might not have noticed.

but NBA players don't live in those parts of LA, so they can stay away from them

I lived for years in L.A. and I've lived years in N.O. L.A. is okay for awhile but, in the end, it sucks. The smart people I knew were bailing out like crazy. Shitty traffic, over priced property, beyond stereotypical stupid, shallow people and the only real culture it has is hidden or forgotten. frick L.A.

Now, dumbass athletes, for the most part, have their tastes up their asses. But N.O. will be fine with the right management. Do you guys think that, in the beginning, players were fighting to to go to fricking San Antonio, for God's sake?

As a millionaire player, why the frick wouldn't you want to live/play in LA over NOLA??

Anyone who thinks otherwise is being a fagtastic idiot.

If you are a Louisiana native, nowhere else in the world is Paradise except HOME.
And it really does not matter if your worldly travel is as confined as the redneck riviera.
Louisiana is a slice of heaven with no problems.

If the deal ends up happening, I say we trade Odom to LAC for Minny's draft pick just for shits and giggles

LA area has what? 8 million people? Nola and its suburbs have 500,000? Yeah. Ton more in LA. Tons of beaches, stars, endorsments, women. Those are the things 20 year old millionaires worry about. Not if there is a great local jazz bar...

How do you know he wasn't just talking about going from LA to NO in terms of teams and not cities?
