Im a Pels fan and I didnt watch the game last night either. No way am I missing a World Series game over any NBA game.

Aside from people who's favorite sport is basketball, most local sports fans are going to watch Game 6 of the World Series over a regular season NBA game.

New Orleans sports fans will really get into the Pels once the Saints are done. Thats around when I start watching/caring about them each year.

I have season tickets and I don't care about this team

It's quite sad, actually

Unfortunately, New Orleans is a one sport town. Even if the Pels ran off a few championships, do you believe they would ever compete with the saints? This isn't a great market for basketball.

That would be more than what the Saints have done.

But they are wasting a budding superstar, just like the saints are wasting a future hall of fame quarterback .

So true...

Why should they? Only 4/30 teams have a shot each year. Making the playoffs is meaningless when over half the league makes it. They need to contract by six teams to spread out the talent, have a playoff system similar to baseball, and give each lottery team an equal chance of winning to prevent tanking.

75% of all households know who gets try is would be my guess. I mean if you watch the local news or read the paper you'd know by default

So do less than 5% of the city attend games?

I care but it just seems like a hopeless cause.

There were many seasons where even the Superdome was empty. Fans can only take so much suck.
