In this case, I found the OP to be absolutely short-sighted.

Out of every game in his career or even this season, this was the toughest? And he played poorly, so this is some excuse? I'm not buying that this was his toughest challenge. That's pure drivel.
Well, I think it's safe to say his toughest game of his career has probably happened in this season since it is the first season where he is the full time starter. And I dont want to make excuses for him but he did have some obstacles going into this game. He played against a top 10ish PG, he played 36 minutes the night before (and played around 41 minutes in this game), our top scorer was out, and he was playing with a cold. That's a lot to overcome. I'm not willing to say this was his toughest game of his career because only Vasquez knows the answer to that. But I'm sure this game was up there.
