I was really just kidding about trading Jrue.
But if Smith comes in and is a serviceable enough PG, with all the other guards we have, you have to at least look at the option if you can land a stud 3 that we have been looking for.

I wouldn't say his spot is guaranteed. His deal this year i non-guaranteed, and he is behind Asik and Ajinca, and you have to figure Davis will get at least a few minutes per game at Center with Ryno on the floor. One of the other posters said that Young has looked better in the 4 SL games.

Russ Smith with 21 and 3 assist tonight. Would have liked to see more assists but he has shown the ability to score and defend well. I think his on ball defense will allow him to get early minutes this season

Despite tonight he leads summer league in assist per game.
