While mired in a 12-game losing streak, New Orleans indeed remains reluctant to trade JJ Redick, according to league sources, on top of the team's two presumed untouchables: Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram

Yet what that also means is Jrue Holiday is indeed available via trade, league sources say. It would surely cost a significant amount to pry him away from the Pels, but this is a notable change in status given how unavailable Holiday was to interested teams last season

Stein is connected and has had some serious info on the Pels in the past.

And he flat out says that sources are saying that Jrue is available.

Not an assumption. This is simply opening the phone lines. Griff will need to be blown away to trade Jrue

If you don’t know what’s happening, go read MM’s article on Bourbon Street Shots. It’s almost a play-by-play

<----------- This guy isn't shocked.

Jrue plays well... trade him.
Jrue plays bad... get rid of him.
Jrue isn't resigning again w/ this franchise. Never was.

Whoever wants him needs to agree to take Gentry too.

The way it is worded sounds like an assumption. He starts it with, "what that means then..." Sounds like it is a deduction based on the other info he has.

I doubt Jrue gets moved after Griffin touting him as the leader of the franchise.

If the team was healthy to start the season and frankly even .500 right now I don’t think any of this even starts up. But, having the 2nd worst record in the league, not much else makes more sense than revving the tank up, get back some assets, get Lonzo, NAW, Ingram, Zion, Hayes as much time together as you can, get another top 5 pick, and roll into next season with an even deeper pocket of assets to build with.

Stein also very clearly mentioned 4 players. Zion & BI, both untouchable. JJ who they don’t want to trade. And Jrue

So either Stein was not told about the team’s future plans with Jrue and was left to speculate on purpose or was told the market is open

That’s Stein. It’s not an assumption. If he reports something about the Pels, it comes straight from the FO. Local guys will confirm shortly.

a package involving Nunn. We need to get a ball handler/penetrator back if we moving Jrue.
