I'm on record as saying I think Tyreke Evans is the best point guard on the team, and the team's second-best player.

Better court vision (than Jrue), ability to penetrate, and durability.

He's a better facilitator. Can see the floor better than Holiday.

He's not saying much of anything beyond Tyreke is a better player than Jrue (which a lot of people are calling him a lunatic and he is defending it), that Monty should be the coach for 2 more years, etc etc.

I agree with him for the most part

I'll go ahead and downvote myself before the Holiday defenders come through

You don't have to be a Holiday defender to hate the way Tyreke runs the offense much of the time. He makes Joel yell at him to hurry up and get it across the 8 second line at least once per game, and you really saw at the start of game 4 how much the offense bogs down when Tyreke is running the offense but not attacking. Tyreke PnRs are nice, Tyreke dribbling the shot clock down while teammates try and fail to get open, well lets just say he's not CP3. He has complained about how much trouble learning the playbook is twice this season, so I'm really not sure how much improvement we can expect other than hoping his outside shot improves.

I still want to see him as 6th man wrecking ball and not starting PG.

I explained to you why tyreke>>>jrue is false.

Tyreke has to his credit played(very) well for stretches this season but he's not trustworthy for 82 games with his style.

You can also tell the difference between how cole runs the offense too.

Only because of health. You can't trust Tyreke when he's healthy.

It's a bone issue. It will probably be fully healed by next year and won't be a recurring issue.

Reke is just way too inconsistent. It pisses me off. When he plays aggresive and distributes, he is insanely effective. There are some games where he looks like the best player on the court. Why he doesn't stick with what works and actually wins games, I have no idea. Him holding the ball for an ISO and then jacking up a fadeaway makes me want to punch my television. Jrue looks to set plays up quickly, is a great facilitator, has a decent shot, is a good defender and is a more consistent option to start at point. If we can get Reke to buy in to being a 6th man that comes off the bench and attacks, looks to dish this team would be set up nicely.

I'm talking about ability and not health. If the situation was reversed this season and jrue played with QPon/Cole etc over the second half instead of reke, the WL record would be roughly the same or likely better in my mind.

There's obviously no way to prove that but I fail to see how jrue wouldn't lead the team to a good run.
