Just wondering, as Jimmy Butler is a restricted free agent, whom the Bulls will likely want to retain by matching any contract offers.

I mean, the biggest upgrade we need is a wing defender. This guy also happens to be a great scorer who is only improving.
Just was throwing it out there, considering the possibility that we might get Thibs. Very likely that it won't happen, but it's interesting to think about.

There is no way that Chicago parts ways with Butler. They will give him the max. They will match any offer.
Any S&T offer would have to be an astronomical (re: more than virtually any team would be willing to pay) offer. IE Young up and Coming player + multiple draft picks.

Lakers are reportedly planning to offer Butler the max.
Danny Green would be solid, but I feel like you'd have to pay him a premium to get out of San Antonio.

It depends how he feels about winning, moving forward. The Pelicans will be the better option of the two, very soon.
