I will repeat. Nobody on this board, as far as I'm aware, has any real knowledge of the relative competency of the various NBA medical staffs. Nor, I suspect, do they know who comprises those staffs or what outside outside physicians/specialists are consulted as needed

So those injuries were caused and/or exacerbated by the medical staff? How much actual diagnosis and treatment did/does the team staff handle for truly serious injuries? Also, are the same people responsible for Jamal Mashburn currently treating Anthony Davis?

I'll hang up and listen

Exacerbated, absolutely. David West was out for a year with the mysterious knee injury (turns out they rebuilt the knee). Gordon's knee issues are more of mystery. They said Tyson Chandler had a career threatening foot injury. Paul's absence during the Collison year, etc.

I'm not sure how long this staff has been together.

Different set of orthopedics group for Mashburn etc. when it was based out of Tenet Memorial- Baptist campus. More recently based out of Ochsner orthopedic docs.
