Greens downside has to do with playing out of position at 5 vs guys who punish him with heft and height.

Can't subscribe to the "downside" playing at 5 when he received 40 first place votes at Center in 2016, more than big DeAndre(first team)...but in a weird loophole, he received more votes at forward so he had to slide down.

Also, the Lineup of Death is the Lineup of Death because of DG at center

lineup of death with green center

If they had walton or any number of great mobile centers, green would be a smallish pf.

Green is a tweener w/o a position before we get to this NBA era. he probably isn't in the league 15 years ago. hell, if Lee doesn't get hurt, he might be out of the league right now.

the Warriors are dominant because he can play the 5. they have had the best offense and the best defense while playing at an insane pace with Green at the 5 for the past 3 years. no teams other than OKC and CLE 2 years ago have been able to keep up with that unit.

I don't know about that, he is a tough dirty player. Reminds me alot of the Barkley copycat movement with Popeye Jones, Rodney Rodgers, Larry Johnson Byron Houston, Oliver Miller, etc.. A lot of those guys could play and stayed in the league a long time. I thought Bennett was going to be a player too, but he never caught on..

Regardless Draymond Green is really good and will be in the league a long time..
