Right now, there's 5 players I'd trade Anthony Davis straight up for
1. LeBron James
2. Russell Westbrook
3. Kevin Durant
4. Kyrie Irving
5. Steph Curry
Durant and Curry would be difficult because while they are superstars, they can have some really bad games. Now obviously you have other great players like Jimmy Butler, Klay Thompson, and so on. However, for Davis, I had better be getting a multitude of 1st rounders.

Im curious why you say Durant and Curry, but not Westbrook and Irving? Curry and Durant have much fewer bad games than those two.

Doing a straight up trade for Davis would be dumb. If we even did shop Davis is would be for multiple first rounders and an above average player

You have no clue what you're talking about

Where the hell did you hear that rumor of trading for Dangelo? No other sites are reporting that.

Chad Ford said on Sportscenter that it is likely they are shopping for another pick, possibly in the top five.
"I think more likely the Lakers are trying to pick up another pick in this draft, in the top five. And the guy they have that they can shop is D'Angelo Russell. A guy who was their number two pick in the draft last year. But, burned some bridges in the locker room."

Dunn and Ingram would be hot

Ugh
Kyrie had a great series with Lebron playing out of his mind but Kyrie is more injury prone then Davis and was early lottery bound without Lebron. Too much recency bias on that one.
Westbrook really turned a corner in my mind this post season by maturing as a facilitator but I still wouldn't make that trade. PG is the deepest position in the league.

That quote says nothing of the Pelicans. They also don't own a top 5 pick.
Posted on 6/23/16 at 2:29 pm to JabarkusRussell
I think they'd take 6 if offered

I don't recall if it was tied to that or from other rumors but supposedly Hield is who the Lakers want with a 2nd pick. So if they are willing to swap Russell for Hield then the Pelicans would quite possibly be involved.
