For pick 22? Maybe bundle it with our 2 rounds to get around 15

No. Too much salary for us to take on without giving any back out. Would hurt us in Free Agency.

Although, limiting the amount of damage Dell can do in FA wouldn't be the worst thing.

What moves can we legitimatly make to eventually make us a championship team. In today's nba it seems you need a superstar, an all star, and a star. Sure we can pick up some decent guys in free agency but I rather accumulate assets for 2 years, then try and make a splash move to get our Klay, Kyrie type of player

I'd do it. You get a pick, so that's one less FA to sign.
Wr aren't paying someone the max anyway.

I'd rather the 22ND pick than a minimum salary FA.

The move we can make is to be patient, use our draft picks, develop talent, make smart moves in free agency to acquire tradable assets, and build the team the right way.

How is Lamb for 3 years at 7 mil per year for 22 risky in any way? We pay Asik more than that and under the rising cap space year after year it will look even better. Also Lamb should at least a decent bench player since we have zero depth

If it gives us the chance to grab a 3+D SF like Taurean Prince at 22, then I would jump at it.

Agreed. Aaron afflalo just turned down his 8 mil player option and Lamb is comparable to him. Clearly Afflalo thinks he'll get more that 8 mil on the open market, and if he does 7 mil for Jerry Lamb looks nice

I'm all for eliminating his ability to throw $100M at Harrison Barnes

I have to say no to this. I'd love to have another 1st, but it'd be like paying 20M for the 20th pick in the draft. Thats just not smart. Lamb has gotten worse every year and is too small to play SF. We already have a better version of him im Poindexter and we'd still have to add a wing.

I would think about Hawes though. He can fill Anderson's role and is almost 10M cheaper than Lamb. Then we can look to dump Asik or Ajincia. So he's good insurance. Still alot of money though..

You mean like Noel, a top 10 pick, and cap space > Jrue Holiday?
