I'm meh on re signing Asik. A two year deal, fine. Four is crazy.

But its an extremely dumb move, imo, to re sign Asik simply to keep the MLE and sign a player who absolutely will not be the difference between winning a championship and not.

Its really clear where the league is going and its not favorable to Asik. He had no place in the playoffs. Bogut, who's a better version of Asik got benched in the finals, and that's when Golden State took over that series.

Shams Charania at RealGM is saying we also have interest in Leandro Barbosa. Thoughts?

That's not necessary. You don't get under the cap until you renounce your exceptions, so using them keeps you over the cap.

Ah ok

Seems Dell is a least making contingency plans if we're interested in Lopez.

Played a key role for the Warriors, veteran, knows Gentry's system from 2 teams. If it weren't for the fact that we already have so many guards I'd think it was solid depth.
