Like him or hate him he possesses tools that this team can use and he shows up for big games, he's a pesky defender and a creator of offense for teammates, also a great rebounder at the guard spot. Can't wait to see that matchup vs golden state

We didn't make the playoffs last year and the only addition we made is Rondo...I don't think Steph and Golden State are too worried

If anyone thinks we are competing with them then they are extremely delusional

We also didn't have a full season/offseason with boogie. And who gives af if gsw is worried. We'll be much better next year and rondo will help regardless of if you think gsw is worried or not.

You act like we don't have talent, any giving day we can put it together and find something that really works for us just like the warriors did, they wasn't always that good

Your opinion don't matter to me, if we beat them you'll probably be the first guy saying I knew we could

It should matter to you. My opinion is righter than yours. I'd like to beat golden state for that matter, but let's be realistic

I'm as realistic as they get, Do I think we're gonna beat golden state? No. Do I think we have a chance to beat golden state? Yes. Do i think we can beat them in a 7 game series? No, but I definitely won't roll over and hand them the damn wins, strap up and play the game, we can create matchup problems too

I'm starting to see more and more people like you as the days go by, maybe I'm a little old school but I don't give in to defeat to no one, I'll play against and give my best against ANYONE, you're that guy that looks at your teammates and says "y'all really want me to guard this guy?"

Amen. Competitors don't fear competition.

Also, injuries happen. Golden State is as due as anyone for a major injury-related setback. Remove one of their big-4 from a series and all of a sudden they don't seem nearly as intimidating.

Exactly, some people lose before they actually try to win!

Any given day.

QPon back and better than ever.
Asik and anjica each decide to play in Europe so they can start. All that money is freed up and pels take a high priced 3 and D off the hands of some team with no shot. Pels trade diallo in same deal. Pels get unprotected 1st in 2018. Jackpot ! Diallo leads his new team to 4th worst record. Pels with 15% chance get 2nd overall pick. Omg, the best pg in 10 years.

Imagine if we made the buddy-cousins trade after the season instead of right before the end of the season; this board would be slammed with sunshine pumpers. Instead, we get a bunch of jaded pricks.

I'm personally pretty pumped! Championship? I don't feel it yet, but I think this team is shaping up to be a middle playoff seed.

With Dell and Alvin here, just making the playoffs is a victory. Our roster with Rondo maybe makes the 6th seed in the West last year. But with the Wolves getting better, I'd say that 7/8 spot is gonna be tougher to slide into now than ever.

With the Warriors, Rockets, Spurs, Timberwolves - even a CP3-less Clippers... What is gonna be defined as a successful season now?

Good thing we won't have to face them until the WCF.

Exactly. I'm not saying the Pels can win a series against GS but just take last year's WCF for example. What if Curry or KD hurts their ankle rather than Kawhi. There's a good chance GS doesn't even make the finals. Pels just need some luck on the injury front for once and I think we'll have a really competitive team

I didn't know we had a Pelican posting on here. That's the right attitude Asik! Now go earn your damn contract!

Dude come on. No one here wants to lose to Golden State but also no one here thinks we would beat them in a 7 game series.

Your statement is dumb because no disagrees with you that Golden State is not scared but no one said we are competing for a title this year (unless they were being facetious). On top of that you're putting down fans that are excited about the year.

And now you're arguing a non-existent point because of your arrogant post. Come on
