Remembering Kobe

Well it's Kobe's last chance to make all of his Louisiana supporters happy. I'll be in NOLA tonight but happily skipping the game thanks to 5 tickets that sold on TM Resale.
First off I just wanted to make the petition to have C on Z start the game thread tonight.
Second, I'd like to remember Kobe by bringing up Wednesday, March 6th 2013. My mom is a Lakers fan so I took her along with my family to the game.
The game started out great for the Hornets as we built a 25 point lead and all the Lakers fans were quiet. But Kobe happened and he ended up with 42 points as we scored 9pts in the 4th quarter - letting the Lakers close the game on a 20-0 run from around the 7 minute mark.
I'm not a Kobe fan, but I appreciate all he's done for the game and for being a somewhat clone of MJ.

Don't forget about the 12 assists that game. That was one of the most painful memories I've had in that arena. Dwight Howard got away with MURDER after they left him in with 2 fouls in the first. Ditto at the end of the game.
Kobe played an incredible game. One you can look back and be thankful you saw. But damn at the time it wasn't fun, and it damn certainly was infuriating to hear the Lakers "fans" leave that place that happy.

Still wasn't that long ago when he dropped 42 in NOLA.
