What do you think our favorite trolls will have to say about the rigged lottery? Can't wait to hear the butthurt! At least the Pro Bowl is back in Hawaii, right Colin?!

Bayless: (low voice) "Remember the frozen envelope? (loud voice) Well this one was RIGGED TOO. YOU CAN'T TELL ME LEBRON ISNT THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NBA"
eta: btw, if the Nets had won the lottery, this story would have been the lead on every ESPN channel

Whatever floats your boat, but why waste time listening to those two, who know nothing about the NBA, talk about the NBA?

And here we go. Cowherd started out with lotto being fixed with in 5 seconds of starting show. This dude is a joke!

I don't know which way to take this joker. Is he saying it was fixed or it was not fixed.

Then Cowherd had to throw in that NOLA had top murder rate in the nation for good measure. Oh ok that relates to the NBA??

Ugh.
If almost ANY team in the top 6 won, save Charlotte or Washington, there would be someone crying foul.
New Orleans? League-owned team being sold to Benson.
Cleveland? It would be two wins in a row following The Decision.
Sacramento? It would be the league giving the team leverage to get a new arena.
Brooklyn? The league wants the Nets strong going into the Brooklyn market.
No one would really say much if Charlotte or Washington won, other than condolences for Davis if he had to play for that collection of shite they call the Bobcats.

LOL, did he really bring up how New Orleans isn't safe again? I hope this guy gets his face kicked in when he has to come down here for the SB.

Won't happen. This is why he has FBI bodyguards. It is not because NOLA is not safe. It is because someone will kick his face in.

Lol, Colin just said NO is an irrelevant franchise that won't be there in 10 years because it isn't an NBA city. Shocker!

Why would they fix it for New Orleans? That franchise won't even be there in 10 years.
That's what he said.
Good times.

To quote David Stern on Colin's show:
"I'm just trying to add some facts to it. I know it's uncomfortable, but i'm happy to do it."

Hahaha cowherd with "FBI" body guards. What a clown. Him and Bayless need to go play in oncoming traffic. Can't wait for DAS BROW and who ever we take #10

Surprisingly, Skip and Stephen A don't think it was rigged, even if it looked bad. Skip also said he thinks we can slip in as an 8th seed next year.

Even though we joke about it a lot, there is no way in hell the lottery is rigged. They have reps for every team watching, Demps was ours. That is why he wasn't at the podium with Monty. They are separated with no contact to the outside.
quote:
General manager Dell Demps said he pumped his fist in the room where the drawing took place after seeing that the balls had been drawn in the Hornets' favor.
"When our combination came up, it was an exciting feeling," he said. "I got an incredible rush. ... We knew what the odds were. We hoped for the best. It was nothing we could control. We're just happy."
