Pelicans game on Saturday against the Lakers has been moved to ESPN2 and will be played at 5p CT.

LeBron James is 89 points away from breaking Kareem’s scoring record.

Lakers play tomorrow at Indy, then vs. Pels before returning home.

First, is putting a game on ESPN 2 really getting it more exposure?

Second, if Lebron has one game before playing the Pels, and he's 89 points away from the record, did some exec at ESPN say "LeBron might drop 60 on the Pels. Make sure we're showing it."?

100% it does

I guess this is just to be safe so they are sure they don't miss it. More than likely it happens in their following game though.

No way he breaks it in NOLA. He will sit if he has to to break it in LA.

ESPN has also announced they will replace the pelicans logo and score on the broadcast with a points countdown tracker for Lebron

With the way we are playing, I’m surprised it didn’t get Flexed to the Ocho or Hallmark Channel.

I hope he scores 60 tomorrow. The price of my tickets will sky rocket and I’ll just watch them Play Sunday from better seats. ??

That would make this the worst Birthday present my wife has ever given me.

In a perfect world him and street clothes would suffer career ending injuries while scissoring in the locker room and he never breaks the record.

Perhaps this board should stop wishing injuries on other players and teams

It hasn’t exactly worked out for us the last 10 weeks.

Lol you are right man. The world actually has good/bad karma and what some random people say on the interwebs has a direct correlation to the health of professional athletes.

And if you're in the NOLA media market this will still be blacked out and only available on suckass Bally's.

Is there any way to get physical tickets anymore? I collect vintage tickets (mainly boxing) but if for some reason Lebron goes nuts and breaks the record, I wouldn't mind having a ticket. I bought mine off of seat geek though.

I don’t think the overall arrogance on this board helps

We are about to be under .500 tonight and Z is still a month away from playing.

As did I. It really is the crap part of the convenience of digital tickets. I still have all my concert tickets dating all the way back to seeing Nine inch nails at lakefront arena when in high school.

As far as the pelicans tickets goes, for season ticket holders it was an option to have physical ones mailed to you, but that option cost $100. At the time, that amount represented 10% of what my tickets cost so it was an option I declined.

Not sure they even offered that this year.
