I don't want to if Zion is out.

I'd prefer the 7 spots higher draft pick.

so, what's the point of beating the Kings and fricking our draft position up, if we don't have Zion to help us in the postseason?

there is literally NO argument that can be made to support winning this game if Zion is going to be out for an extended period of time...

Exactly, frick the draft. This year sucks anyway, and we don't have time or room for rookies anyway.

Umm we do if its a center. Just look what Lively has done for the Mavs.

Not in the middle of the 1st round, only at the top.

Two of those guys are starters and Trey murphy has an AllStar ceiling. They're not just role players

Yeah- maybe I don’t know. He hasn’t progessed in regards to his handle much at all nor does he playmake at all. I like Trey but not sure if he’ll be ab all star.

It makes no sense to go to playoffs to lose in 4 or 5 for guys dyson and trey to get playoff experience.

That's why you.... wait for it... get him in the playoffs. With an expanded role he may show you that you can do more with him. And he has shown far more of a handle this year. That floater was nice nice late.

Disagree. He hasn't been allowed to progress. He is playing his role the way they are asking him to.

The only way for him to progress and develop is to give him the freedom and green light.

no, they don't need playoff experience to be able to play well in the playoffs... they need better coaching that will help them achieve greater ceilings as players, accentuate their strengths, and utilize them in a way to get the most out of their strengths....

You want to go to playoffs to get Trey Murphy experience? Yeah ok. Sure spin it any way you want but these playooffs were about Zion not Trey, Herb or Dyson getting playoff experience- again those guys are just role players.

Organizational failure .

If Pels don’t punt Games in October , November , December , etc and against the spurs recently, they arent playing today and Zion is getting ready for the playoffs right now.

Asinine from the top down.

probably b/c that's the best role for him to play....

let's be honest, he's not someone that can create his own shot off the dribble... he just can't, or we would have seen that facet of his game by now, at least flashes of it... he is not going to all of a sudden start taking guys off the dribble... he can drop in a floater or runner from time to time, but he's a catch and shoot 3 point shooter...

don't get me wrong, i love Trey, and what he brings to the team, but he's just not a shot creator, no matter how much "freedom" or "green light" you give him...

Better draft pick and a bigger fire under the FO’s arse.

The last thing we need is to sneak into 8th, and have the FO think that what we have is working.

We need change

Exactly. There is no upside getting inti playoffs if Zion has a long term injury and cant play. They’ll play the season off as a success when its not.

so your suggestion is to run it back next season with the same squad? what are you expecting to be different, as presently constructed?
