Only reason I'm still watching is to see if Monty gets into it with fans.

What do you want him to say? What he said there carries 0 weight.

He put this team together. He's not gonna say on live television that he doesn't like his team. He'll bite his tongue and make changes behind closed doors.

He could of said something like, we are always looking for ways to make this team better.

But Jen Hale shouldn't of bothered asking him that question if she knew he wouldn't give a straight answer

And I understand he isnt going to bash on the team he has created, however look what happen to les miles when he never admitted he screwed up on Jordan Jefferson. .. that turned out bad for Les and Jordan.

Nearly the entire LSU fan base hated Jordan because Miles never admitted Jordan was a failure on his part

Pretty sure he did say that. Something along the lines of if there is something on the table that would make us better, we would have to consider it.

Him saying he likes this team, I wish I knew the actual quote, aggravates me because IMO this team at full strength is still not consistent

Again IMO Ryan Anderson can not be guaranteed 30 minutes and he can not be your second best front court scorer

If Asik was shutdown defense like he suppose to be, it be ok because he would take some of Asik minutes. However, that idea failed and we NEED another front court defender with atleast an average offensive game

Tristan F*cking Thompson! !!!

I mean how many teams wouldn't be absolute garbage with their two best players injured and another top 5 player on the team? I am aggravated the Pels are injured and losing, but this is expected with the injuries.

Imagine these teams with the players listed injured:

Golden State - Curry, Thompson, and Green
Memphis - Conley, Gasol, Randolph
Mavericks - Nowitski, Chandler, Ellis
Clippers - Paul, Griffin, Jordan
Thunder - Durant, Westbrook, Adams
Cleveland - Lebron, Love, Mosgov
Atlanta - Teague, Hortford, Korver

They would all be close to horrible.

How many games this season have the top six players been healthy? Regardless they are over 0.500 at this point with a hard schedule and playing basically all season with significant injuries.

I could have a poor preception in the issue; however, what very successful teams have overcomed the level of injury issue this team has faced over the last two seasons? Also the same question considering the difficulty in the Pelicans schedule.

The Pelicans have to be the most injury cursed team in the league by far.

Just looked at the box score because I stopped paying attention to this abomination pretty early, how in the hell do we waste that kind of bench effort?

Babbitt 15/8
Douglas 14/7
Jimmer 9/5
Pondexter 9 points

Gordon and Tyreke combined for 14 points of 5/20 shooting Judging by the minutes Indy called the dogs off early, but it's just a shame that this team can't figure out how to have every body bringing their A game every night.
