What was the difference between Galloway and Crawford besides $4M in cap space?

It's not that they're different it's that we need more than 1 of them. If you can get a Redick type to play 30 MPG maybe you don't, but unless we land that kind of player I think you need at least 2 volume 3PA guards. Maybe Moore can step up and be more aggressive, but Crawford alone isn't enough and we don't know for sure if this out of character efficiency is a maturation of his game or a half season hot streak like Norris Cole.

Didn't somebody's barber have a text from Klay saying he wanted to play in NO with AD? That sounded totally legit.

Well if superteams are the new standard of the NBA; what superstar player wouldn't want to play with two superstars already on the same team? I guarantee that there will players on this roster next year that we as fans never expected to come to the Pels.

So what flaws are you willing to accept to add 3 pt shooting and how much of your limited flexibility are you willing to sacrifice to do so?

they are going to be looking at bottom tier options regardless. all of these guys will have holes- it's about fit around Davis/Cousins, fit within scheme and other role players, and locker room.

so, Ian Clark is an example of a guy i think they should look at. he may be too pricey, his defense is meh and he's small, but he can shoot 3s. again, some very obvious holes in his game, but he does have a skill.

none of these guys are game changers and i have no idea how affordable these guys will actually be, but here's a list:

guards:
Tyler Ennis
Aaron Brooks
MCW
Collison
Sergio Rodriguez
Galloway

on the wing:
Reggie Bullock
Luke Babbitt
Ilyasova
Jerebko
McDaniels
Meeks
Brandon Rush
Nick Young (yes....though i doubt Young+Cousins would be a good idea)
James Johnson
James Young

Crawford is a career 31% 3pt shooter on 1000 3PA. i'm glad he put up 39% on 95 attempts in NO. he could have improved over the years, but i wouldnt put the mortgage on him being that good next year.

Clark is going to get better on offense.

Price is right.

Man Livingston would be perfect on the pels.
Give him the starting job cause he is def leaving golden state just hope we have the money to make it happen.

Can anyone explain how the money would work if Holliday leaves without a sign and trade

Holiday walks + stretch Asik = $19-$20 million in cap space.if you need more you have to start dumping contracts like Ajinca and Qpon.

Well QPon is already dead so we have the corpse.
I think its still legal to trade dead players. Never seen anything saying otherwise...

Per Danny Leroux and Nate Duncan - Livingston cannot play more than 25 minutes...

I don't think Livingston makes sense for us.

Given what Chris Finch seems to have been brought in to do - install a Cousins and AD tailored system similar to the one they ran in Denver through Jokic - I feel like we absolutely need guys that can space the floor. Livingston just doesn't really do that for us. Especially if you also have Hill out there.

With all that cutting and pick and roll the Nuggets ran, you need guys that can be outlets to knock down shots or I feel like a lot of what they will want to do will break down if you can comfortably cheat off the perimeter shooters or clog the middle too much.
